Command & Conquer 3 is the sequel to Tiberian Sun, continuing the Tiberian storyline from the original C&C. It has been announced in the June 2006 issue of PC Gamer which featured several in-game screenshots. The story takes place in the year 2047 the world is in chaos. GDI is trying to save what's left of Earth, while Nod, believing in the ancient prophecy about the link between Kane and Tiberium, fights GDI on all fronts.
